This Writer's Beginning

Recently, I did an “Ask me anything” poll on my Instagram, and multiple people asked me different versions of the same question: how and why did I become a writer?

I have touched on this in various posts before, but I have never sat down and explained, in some detail, how I started on this path. I’d like to do that now.
